Role Overview
One of our clients is looking for a video editor to join their company. You will be responsible for bringing our premium, large-scale live events, concert environments, and behind-the-scenes operations to life through elite, cinematic short-form content. This is a full-time remote role designed for an editor who commands foundational visual storytelling, possesses a natural rhythm for pacing event content, and has a strong interest or baseline capability in integrating AI visual effects into traditional video workflows. You will report directly to the business owner and work closely with our global operations and local on-site camera teams in a highly intense, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Premium Event Editing: Transform raw b-roll, staging setups, behind-the-scenes warehouse prep, and live festival/nightlife footage into high-energy, premium short-form video assets (Instagram Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
- AI Effects Integration: Research, experiment with, and actively integrate modern AI-driven video enhancement tools (e.g., frame generation, stylistic tracking, digital visual modification) to push creative boundaries.
- Kinetic Visual Storytelling: Master fluid pacing, advanced transitions, kinetic text animations, color grading, and precise sound design synced seamlessly to musical hooks.
- Asset Coordination: Collaborate cleanly with on-site media capture teams to pull daily content assets and organize high-volume production workflows.
- Brand Scaling: Swiftly internalize internal aesthetic blueprints and creative feedback loops to deliver content that matches the high production value of the brand.
Must-Have Requirements
- Dynamic Portfolio: An elite visual portfolio showcasing exceptional musical timing, fluid movement, clean b-roll manipulation, and engaging event storytelling frameworks.
- The "AI Brain": High coachability and a proactive mindset—you must possess a genuine interest and baseline understanding of how to use emerging AI tools to amplify traditional video editing layouts.
- Strong English Fluency: Strong written and verbal English communication skills to align on creative briefs directly with leadership.
- Stamina & Speed: The operational capability to execute quickly and maintain focus in a highly intense, high-output production culture.
Great-to-Have
- Nightlife/Entertainment Experience: Prior experience editing content tailored for live music artists, music festivals, event management agencies, or premium nightlife brands.
- Advanced AI Familiarity: Direct experience working with current-generation video-generative or framework tracking AI software models.
