About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a rapidly growing consumer products business that designs and delivers innovative sporting goods equipment across multiple categories. As the company continues to expand, they are looking for a Product Designer to help bring new product concepts to life and play a key role in shaping the future of their product portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially minded designer who enjoys working cross-functionally and seeing products move from concept through to production.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Technical Designers, Marketing and Sales teams to create compelling product concepts, design briefs and development materials that support the product creation process.
You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple brands and product categories while contributing to line planning, product innovation and ongoing business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create product design briefs using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, SolidWorks and other design software
- Translate product ideas into clear visual concepts and development materials
- Support product line planning and product ideation initiatives
- Collaborate with technical design teams to support tech pack development
- Work closely with sales, marketing and operations teams on product-related projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Contribute creative ideas that help drive product innovation across the business
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Product Design, Industrial Design or a related discipline
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, SolidWorks or similar design tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter mentality with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Professional approach and strong decision-making skills
Preferred Experience
- Industrial Design background
- Consumer products, sporting goods or outdoor products experience
- Experience working closely with product development teams
- Passion for sports and sporting goods is a plus
