Production Architect (Event Production Manager)
Location : Bangalore, India
At Benchmark, we don’t just "do events"; we engineer experiences. We are looking for a Production Manager who thrives on high stake world of corporate event industry and MICE.
You are the bridge between a wild creative idea and a flawless execution. You will own the lifecycle of the event: from alignments and workings as per finalised branding and design elements, optimizing the internal budget, to being the "Commander-in-Chief" on the event floor during setup, and finally, closing the loop with post-event brilliance.
Your Playbook at Benchmark
The Pre-Event "Win" Strategy
- Brainstorm: Sit with the creative team, operations team to come up with "wow" ideas for corporate projects and event solutions and ensure the ideas are executed in a manner which is being planned.
- Budgeting: Work out the costs. You’ll need to create a smart budget that wins the bid while keeping our costs optimized.
Plan the Work (The BluePrint)
- Project Documentation: Create a "Master Project Plan" that outlines every key aspect of the event: branding, AV, fabrication, permits, and manpower.
- Production Schedules: Draft the ROS (Run of Show) and the Load-in/Load-out schedules.
- Technical Riders: Define exact specifications for Sound, Light, LED, and Stage SFX to be shared with the vendor-facing production team.
On-Site Oversight & Execution (The Reality)
- Vendor Liaison & Alignments: Once the project is confirmed, brief the execution team and vendors on the minute details of the project and production plan.
- On-Site Command: Be present on-site during the Setup/Build-up phase. You are the final authority on whether the physical build matches the approved renders and safety standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that branding, finishing, and technical alignments are flawless before the "Go-Live" moment.
Post-Event & Closure
- Client Deliverables: Manage the timely delivery of post-event reports, high-res photos/videos, and feedback documentation.
- Cost Reconciliation: Assist the finance team in reconciling final production spends against the initial budget.
Candidate Specifications
- Experience – 4 – 6 years in an Experiential Event Marketing Agency or Corporate/Business Event Management industry.
- Technical Skill – Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel & PPT,) Vast Technical Knowledge on production event equipments, tools, materials, resources used in the production process.
- Industry Knowledge – Deep understanding of Event Production Elements & Materials and workflow process of MICE and Events industry, AV technical and lighting equipment, screen customisation knowledge, know-how of technicalities, content slide adaptation if required and branding, enhanced knowledge of materials and resources used towards installation, fabrication as required.
- Soft Skills – Ability to handle high-pressure prouduction timelines and manage cross-functional teams processes as required for smoother experience.
- Work Ethic – Ready to be on-site for long hours during the setup phase to ensure perfection as planned.
