Video Editor Jobs in Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal at Peers Studio
About Peers Studio
Peers Studio is a brand and growth consultancy partnering with ambitious teams in the longevity and health & well-being space. We help turn strong science and big vision into brands people trust.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Video Editor to work primarily in-house with Peers Studio, helping us shape and produce a wide range of creative content across the studio and its adjacent projects.
This role is focused on building and executing video content for our own ecosystem, including internal social media, podcasts, studio storytelling, experimental formats, and brand-building content across platforms. Occasionally, you may also support select client work when needed.
You’ll be working closely with the team to bring ideas to life quickly, creatively, and consistently across both structured projects and fast-moving, experimental output.
We’re looking for someone who is highly creative, comfortable with speed and iteration, and excited about building content that feels modern, sharp, and culturally aware.
What You'll Do
- Edit high-performing video content across ads, social, websites, and campaign assets
- Work on fast-turnaround creative variations and iterative testing for performance marketing
- Build engaging short-form narratives from raw footage, scripts, or loose direction
- Adapt content into multiple formats (cutdowns, hooks, aspect ratios, platform variations)
- Collaborate closely with the team on briefs, feedback rounds, and rapid iterations
- Help shape motion language and storytelling systems across different brands
- Organise and manage multiple timelines and deliver polished work under tight deadlines
- Bring ideas, test new approaches, and actively explore AI tools in your workflow
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience (agency, studio, freelance, or in-house)
- Strong portfolio showing clean storytelling, pacing, and platform-native editing
- Expert-level proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (this is essential)
- Solid understanding of editing for social and performance-driven content
- Comfortable working quickly and iterating under tight deadlines
- Strong sense of rhythm, timing, and visual storytelling
- Clear written and spoken English
- Organised, reliable, and self-directed
- Genuine curiosity to improve craft and experiment with new tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI tools in video production (e.g. generative video, AI-assisted editing, scripting, or workflow acceleration)
- Motion design or basic animation skills
- Experience with paid social creative (Meta, TikTok, YouTube ads)
- Interest in health, wellness, or longevity space
- Basic sound design or colour grading expertise beyond fundamentals
What You'll Get
- High ownership and creative autonomy on video work
- Close collaboration with founders and craft-driven team
- Opportunity to help shape how we use video and AI in modern brand building
- Remote-first setup, with optional access to a Lisbon office
- Room to grow with the studio over the next 1–2 years
