Creative Manager (Outstaff / Remote)

We are seeking a high-level Creative Director / Creative Manager to act as a strategic bridge between performance-driven User Acquisition (UA) creative and high-end cinematic craft. This role supports multiple mobile game titles across mid-core and casual genres, with a focus on elevating both creative performance and production quality at scale.

This is a senior leadership role, focused on direction, strategy, and oversight rather than hands-on production work.

Key Role Details

  • Format: Full-Time Outstaff (Remote)
  • Engagement: 1-year contract with potential for extension
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly (10:00–18:30 UTC+2 / UTC+3)
  • Start Date: ASAP

This is a Managerial / Director-level position.

The candidate will not be expected to work hands-on in production tools day-to-day (e.g. Premiere, After Effects, animation software).

Instead, the focus is on:

  • Directing internal creative teams and external AAA vendors
  • Reviewing and elevating creative craft output
  • Defining and driving overall creative strategy across multiple projects
  • Ensuring all output aligns with performance KPIs (UA / marketing performance)
  • Raising creative quality standards across all production pipelines

A strong portfolio is essential, as candidates must have prior hands-on experience to effectively guide and elevate professional artists, editors, and external studios.

We are looking for strong strategic and performance-driven creative problem solving, including examples such as:

  • Pivoting underperforming UA campaigns through creative insight and hypothesis-driven iteration
  • Solving production bottlenecks in complex cinematic or CGI workflows
  • Aligning creative direction with strict performance KPIs (CTR, CPI, ROAS, IPM)
  • Making high-quality creative decisions under pressure in fast-moving production environments

We are particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate critical thinking, adaptability, and leadership in performance-led creative environments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 7+ years in senior creative roles within the gaming industry
  • Strong exposure to both UA/performance marketing creative and cinematic / brand-level production work
  • Craft Fluency: Strong understanding of
  • Scriptwriting
  • Storyboarding
  • Cinematic direction
  • VFX / motion design
  • Gameplay capture
  • Data Literacy: Ability to interpret UA performance data (IPM, CTR, CPI, ROAS) and translate insights into creative direction
  • AI-Native Production Mindset: Familiarity with or willingness to integrate tools such as Kling, Midjourney, Firefly, or similar into production workflows
  • Vendor Management: Experience directing internal teams as well as external AAA trailer houses and CGI studios
  • Portfolio: Must demonstrate excellence across both UA performance creative and cinematic/trailer-level production work

Candidates may be based anywhere, provided they can consistently operate within 10:00–18:30 UTC+2 / UTC+3 working hours.
