Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the Group’s global brand development, overseas marketing strategy, and user growth initiatives.
As the Group’s senior marketing leader, the CMO will oversee branding and marketing resources across multiple business lines and build a scalable international marketing organization that balances long-term brand equity with measurable commercial growth.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing overseas markets, particularly in North America or the Asia-Pacific region (excluding China), and possesses deep expertise in both brand strategy and integrated marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Brand Strategy & Brand Equity Development
- Develop and lead the Group’s overseas brand strategy, brand positioning, and brand architecture across master brands and sub-brands.
- Drive international market entry strategies, brand localization, and long-term brand equity growth across multiple regions.
- Ensure consistency of the Group’s global brand identity while maintaining differentiated positioning for individual business lines.
- Establish scalable brand frameworks that support long-term international expansion and business growth.
2. Traditional Media & Integrated Brand Communications
- Lead and execute global brand communication strategies across traditional media channels, including:
- Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising
- Newspapers and magazines
- Television and radio
- Develop integrated marketing communication (IMC) strategies that combine traditional and digital marketing channels effectively.
- Build long-term brand awareness, market presence, and consumer mindshare across overseas markets.
- Ensure brand campaigns align with strategic business objectives and regional consumer behavior.
3. Endorsements, Sponsorships & Strategic Brand Partnerships
- Lead the selection, negotiation, and management of brand ambassadors, endorsers, influencers, and public figures.
- Oversee sponsorships, naming rights, and strategic partnerships in sports, entertainment, esports, events, and cultural initiatives.
- Develop sustainable brand IP collaborations and cross-industry partnerships to enhance market influence and visibility.
- Drive high-impact brand events and campaigns that strengthen brand reputation globally.
4. Overseas Marketing & Growth Strategy
- Develop and implement international go-to-market strategies and overseas user growth initiatives.
- Oversee paid media campaigns, channel partnerships, content marketing, and KOL/creator collaborations across regions.
- Balance long-term brand-building initiatives with performance-driven marketing and commercial conversion goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and optimize growth strategies based on regional trends and business priorities.
5. Consumer Research & Market Insights
- Establish a comprehensive overseas consumer research and market intelligence framework.
- Analyze regional consumer behaviors, cultural preferences, media consumption habits, and brand adoption patterns.
- Translate market insights into actionable brand, product, and marketing strategies.
- Monitor competitive landscapes and emerging market trends to support strategic decision-making.
6. Cross-Functional & Cross-Regional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Technology, Operations, and Business teams to support overseas product launches and market expansion initiatives.
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all overseas marketing activities and partnerships comply with local regulations and policies.
- Support Group-level public relations initiatives, investor communications, and key corporate branding milestones.
- Drive alignment between headquarters and regional teams to ensure consistent strategic execution.
7. Marketing Organization & Resource Management
- Build, lead, and scale regional and overseas marketing teams across multiple markets.
- Manage external agencies, media partners, PR firms, creative vendors, and production teams.
- Oversee global marketing budgets, resource allocation, and ROI management.
- Develop high-performance marketing structures, processes, and operational standards.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, branding, communications, or related leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading international brand and marketing initiatives across overseas markets.
- Experience in North America or the Asia-Pacific region (excluding China) is highly preferred.
Marketing & Brand Expertise
- Strong expertise in brand strategy, international brand development, and integrated marketing communications.
- Hands-on experience managing traditional media campaigns, including OOH, print, television, and radio advertising.
- Demonstrated experience in brand endorsements, sponsorships, partnerships, and large-scale brand campaigns.
- Deep understanding of balancing brand-building initiatives with measurable business growth.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, technology, digital platforms, or international consumer brands.
- Experience managing multi-regional marketing teams and global agency networks.
- Strong understanding of emerging global media trends, creator ecosystems, and digital consumer behavior.
- Background in capital markets communications, corporate PR, or large-scale international brand operations is an advantage.
