Position: VP – Category (Brand & Product Communications )

Location : Delhi

️ Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities

Category Ownership & Growth

  • Own the P&L and overall growth strategy for assigned categories
  • Define category vision, roadmap, and long-term expansion strategy
  • Identify white spaces, innovation opportunities, and portfolio gaps

New Product Development (NPD)

  • Lead end-to-end NPD from concept to launch
  • Identify consumer gaps and translate insights into product innovation
  • Work closely with R&D, sourcing, packaging, and operations teams
  • Ensure timely execution of product launches aligned with business goals
  • Drive differentiation through formulation, packaging, and positioning

Brand Communications

  • Lead brand messaging, positioning, and communication architecture
  • Ensure consistency across ATL, BTL, digital, performance, and marketplace channels
  • Drive impactful storytelling rooted in consumer insights

Product Communications

  • Define clear product value propositions and differentiated USPs
  • Develop launch strategies and go-to-market communication plans
  • Ensure strong, consistent communication across packaging, website, ads, and performance creatives

Market & Consumer Insights

  • Translate consumer insights into actionable communication and innovation strategies
  • Monitor category trends, competitive landscape, and pricing dynamics
  • Partner with research and analytics teams for data-backed decisions

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Media, Creative, Performance, Product, Sales, and Supply Chain teams
  • Work closely with Founders on strategic decisions
  • Align product innovation with brand narrative and commercial priorities preferred

What We’re Looking For

  • 4-5 years of experience in Marketing / Category / Brand leadership roles
  • Strong background in brand building, product marketing, and NPD
  • Experience managing categories in beauty, personal care, or FMCG (Startup)
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling new products successfully
  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L understanding
  • Experience in fast-paced or startup environments preferred
