Job Title: Video Editor
Location: Istanbul, Turkey (Onsite with flexible remote days)
About the Role
We are looking for a Video Editor who goes beyond cutting footage — someone who understands design, rhythm, storytelling, and visual identity.
You will work closely with our creative and production team to craft high-end, editorial-style video content in both English and Turkish. This role is ideal for someone who can combine editing precision with a strong eye for composition, typography, and motion design.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality video content for social media, digital platforms, and branded storytelling
- Translate creative direction into polished, visually compelling edits
- Apply design principles (composition, typography, color, pacing) to elevate video output
- Create and integrate motion graphics using Adobe After Effects
- Work with footage captured by the production team and occasionally provide input during shoots
- Manage projects from rough cut to final delivery, ensuring consistency and deadlines are met
- Collaborate with creative leads to maintain a premium and cohesive visual language across all content
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing or post-production
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- Design awareness: strong sense of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
- Understanding of social media formats and storytelling dynamics (Reels, YouTube, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills in English and Turkish
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Basic knowledge of filming (camera, lighting, sound)
- Experience with branding and visual identity systems
- Familiarity with tools like Photoshop or Illustrator
- Understanding of color grading workflows
