Role Overview:We’re looking for a highly efficient, detail-oriented VA Video Editor to support high-volume content production across our portfolio of brands.
This role is heavily focused on short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), while also supporting long-form editing and post-production workflows. You will be responsible for turning raw footage into polished, high-performing content that aligns with our brand and growth strategy.
Speed, consistency, and understanding what performs are critical in this role.
Working Hours/Schedule:
- Full-Time (M-F, 9:00 AM EST, United States)
Compensation:
- $6/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form vertical videos (15–90 seconds) optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Support long-form content editing (podcasts, interviews, YouTube videos, brand content)
- Repurpose long-form footage into multiple short-form clips
- Add captions, subtitles, motion graphics, animations, and transitions
- Incorporate music, sound effects, and pacing that align with platform trends
- Execute post-production workflows, including color correction, audio balancing, and finishing
- Maintain brand consistency across all content outputs
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to hit weekly content volume targets
- Stay current on social media trends, formats, and editing styles
Qualifications & Skills:
Qualifications:
- Proven experience editing short-form social media content at scale
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro
- Experience with Adobe After Effects and post-production workflows
- Strong understanding of what drives engagement on TikTok and Instagram
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and hit tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts
Preferred/Bonus Skills
- Experience with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Envato, Higgsfield, Freepik, Adobe Firefly)
- Experience creating animations and motion graphics
- Background editing for personal brands, podcasts, or high-volume content teams
- Familiarity with content repurposing systems and workflows
