The Role
The Studio Junior Manager will work with our Amsterdam team to support the day-to-day operation of the showroom and studio, ensuring smooth running of our fast- paced space, products, displays, samples, and workspaces are presented to a high standard while providing excellent customer and administrative support.
This role requires flexibility and effective task switching as you will be working on numerous projects and pieces of work at any one time, so you’ll be confident in prioritising your workload as well as with various IT systems and Google Workspace. You will also be confident working with our Senior Leadership Team. The role may require occasional lifting and moving of samples, displays, or equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Support
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and suppliers.
- Maintain showroom presentation, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards.
- Organize product displays, samples, and marketing materials
- Manage stock transfers from the warehouse, distributing stock, ensuring all systems reflect stock movement.
- Prepare the showroom for appointments, events, and client meetings.
- Manage stock levels of samples and promotional materials identifying when stock is low.
- Booking shipments for clients and internal movements and creating commercial invoices.
Studio Support
- Assist with studio setup and preparation for photoshoots, presentations, client visits or creative projects.
- Organize props, samples, equipment, and storage areas.
- Support creative and production teams with administrative and logistical tasks.
- Ensure studio spaces remain tidy, safe, and operational.
- Manage stock within the studio ensuring it can be tracked and ordered when required
- Administering and ensuring support is provided for all special/one-off projects and supporting with additional activities such as photoshoots, trade shows, client meetings
- Managing studio supplies, including stationary, refreshments and other amenities.
Administration
- Answer phone calls, emails, and general enquiries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
- Provide light PA services to the Senior Leadership Team, which can include travel arrangements
- Process orders, deliveries, and sample requests.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems ensuring they are up to date and supplied to freelancers/suppliers when required
- Coordinate courier collections and deliveries.
- Booking and coordinating travel arrangements for Crew employees.
- Managing the meeting room calendars ensuring availability for client meetings when needed
- Planning and coordinating Company social events including summer & Christmas events
Facilities
- Maintenance and improvements of the studio space, purchasing studio storage, equipment and furniture as required
- Being the main key holder for the company. Managing security systems e.g alarm system, entry fobs, signing in
- Supporting renewals and negotiations on overhead supplier contracts
- Managing studio cleaning requirements, daily and ad-hoc
- Welcoming visitors to the studio and providing them with the tour
- Maintain H&S requirements including Emergency Procedures, Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Marshall responsibilities, planning and sometimes delivering training.
Inventory & Logistics
- Receive, unpack, and check incoming deliveries
- Monitor stock and sample inventory
- Prepare products and materials for dispatch
- Assist with stock counts and inventory reporting
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of Experience in a showroom, retail, design studio, or creative environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience in Google Workspace
- Good knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and friendly manner with positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Fluent English language communication skills (written and verbal)
- Right to live and work in Netherlands
