You’ll be part of a collaborative team producing content across DAZN’s global social ecosystem, creating fast-turn short-form edits while also supporting longer-form storytelling formats. This is a role for someone who understands how video performs on social platforms and can craft content that is both visually engaging and editorially sharp.
Whether it’s cutting highlights moments after they happen, creating dynamic vertical edits for social platforms, or supporting larger storytelling pieces, you’ll play an important role in shaping how DAZN connects fans to the sport they love.
As a Social Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing social-first video content across DAZN’s social media platforms.
You will create short-form edits designed for social engagement, including highlights, reactive edits, storytelling formats, and trend-driven content. The role requires the ability to work quickly during live sports moments while maintaining high editorial and visual standards.
Alongside fast-turn social edits, you will also support the creation of mid- and long-form video content, helping develop storytelling pieces, features, and digital formats that extend beyond matchday coverage.
Working closely with social editors, producers, and creative teams, you’ll ensure DAZN’s video output remains dynamic, platform-native, and aligned with the brand’s editorial voice.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Edit short-form video content for DAZN’s social media platforms, including highlights, reactive clips, and storytelling formats.
- Produce fast-turn edits during live sporting events, ensuring content is delivered quickly while maintaining quality.
- Create vertical video edits optimized for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Collaborate with social editors, producers, and creative teams to bring editorial ideas to life through video.
- Support the production of mid- and long-form edits, including social features, compilations, and digital storytelling pieces.
- Adapt video formats to suit different social platforms and audience behaviours.
- Maintain strong editorial awareness to identify key moments and turn them into compelling video content.
- Ensure all video output aligns with DAZN’s brand identity, tone, and publishing standards.
- Contribute ideas for new social video formats, storytelling approaches, and content concepts.
