Role Overview

We are hiring a Social Media Strategist to build “omnipresence” across major platforms by turning raw video/audio and written ideas into platform-native content—not copy-paste reposts.

This is a key early hire that will help shape content strategy and execution. The right person is both strategic and hands-on, able to take raw material, turn it into strong deliverables, schedule it reliably, and keep a simple system moving with minimal friction.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent presence across platforms with content that fits each platform’s format and audience
  • A smooth workflow where the creator provides raw material and can quickly review/approve using a simple draft → review → approve → publish process
  • Reliable publishing cadence driven by clear deliverables and follow-through (not vanity metrics)

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a multi-platform content strategy across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms (e.g., X, Threads, BlueSky)
  • Repurpose raw content into optimized formats per platform (short clips, captions, hooks, post copy, and creative direction as needed)
  • Create and manage a lightweight content pipeline: intake → repurpose → schedule → approve → publish
  • Schedule posts using tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Metricool, or another scheduling platform (candidate may propose their own tool)
  • Support a growing newsletter workflow (Substack or similar): formatting drafts, structuring posts, preparing them for final review/approval
  • Provide light creative direction on what to cut, how to frame, and what performs best on each platform
  • Keep execution on track when priorities shift—help reel the process back to finish what’s in progress
  • Track and report on execution (posting consistency, content volume, pipeline status). Follower growth is not the primary KPI.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and publish content across multiple social platforms
  • Fluency in English!!
  • Strong understanding of platform-native content (TikTok vs LinkedIn vs Instagram, etc.)
  • Ability to work from raw creator input (voice notes, videos, quick drafts) and turn it into clean, publish-ready outputs
  • Experience with scheduling/publishing tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Metricool, Buffer, Later, etc.)
  • Strong writing, formatting, and editing instincts
  • High reliability: you execute without being chased
  • Experience with Substack or newsletter platforms
  • Basic video editing skills (cutdowns, captions, hooks, captions/subtitles)
  • Experience supporting creators, founders, or personal brands
  • Ability to recommend tools/workflows that reduce friction for video recording and repurposing

Hours & Availability

  • Part-time: ~15 hours/week
  • Preferred working window: Afternoons (Eastern Time)
  • Exact schedule is flexible as long as deliverables are completed and communication stays consistent
