Our client in the beauty industry is seeking a full-time Social Media Strategist with a strong video and editing skill set who understands how content, culture, and community drive impact for a modern beauty brand. This role is for someone who lives on social, moves fast, and can both shape strategy and create high-performing video content.
This role is onsite in NYC
What You'll Do
- Own and execute a video-first social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Create, edit, and optimize short-form video content that feels native, timely, and emotionally resonant.
- Identify trends, cultural moments, and format shifts-and act on them quickly.
- Partner with creators, influencers, and internal teams to produce short-form, long-form, and experimental video.
- Lead social campaigns end-to-end, from concept through post-launch analysis.
- Analyze performance (engagement, retention, virality) and continuously iterate.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on social media experience, especially in video-led platforms.
- Proven experience editing and producing high-performing video content.
- Strong instincts for internet culture, trends, and storytelling.
- Comfortable moving fast, testing ideas, and iterating in real time.
- Organized, collaborative, and confident bringing creative ideas to the table.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
