A leading multinational in the food industry, with its European headquarters located in Madrid needs a Creativity Excellence & Connect 2030 Lead (Europe).

Function: Marketing – Europe

Reports to: European Commercial Excellence and Marketing Director (based in Hq EU: Madrid)

Works closely with: Global Marketing (Brand & Creative Excellence), European OU Marketing Directors (7 countries), Agency Ecosystem (creative, media, PR/Influencer), Media & Insights Teams

Role Purpose

The Creativity Excellence & Connect 2030 Lead is responsible for elevating creativity, brand building capabilities, and media effectiveness across Europe to accelerate penetration, grow mental availability, and unlock sustainable brand-led growth.

This role is pivotal to Europe’s contribution to the company’s global marketing transformation, ensuring the region develops bold creative ideas, executes them consistently, and maximizes ROI from modern media, data and technology.

Acting as the bridge between European markets and the Global Creativity Excellence / Media Transformation teams, the role ensures alignment, adoption and scaled impact of global standards while tailoring implementation to local realities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Creativity Excellence across Europe

  • Lead the regional implementation of the company’s Creativity Excellence Framework, ensuring stronger, bolder, insight-driven creativity across 7 European markets.

2. Lead Connect 2030 – Media Transformation for Mental Availability

  • Design and implement the European roadmap for the Connect 2030 initiative, driving modern, evidence-based media planning and investment.

3. Enable the European Marketing Transformation

  • Translate the company’s global marketing transformation vision into European implementation plans.

Profile & Experience

  • 10+ years in Marketing, Brand Building, Creative Strategy, or Media within FMCG or global consumer brands.
  • Experience working across multiple markets; strong cultural empathy and ability to work in matrix structures.
  • Strong influence leadership skills and change management experience.
  • Proven track record of driving creative excellence and/or media transformation.
  • Strong experience working with creative agencies, media partners, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to simplify complexity, influence senior stakeholders, and lead change.
  • Passion for creativity, consumer understanding, and modern marketing effectiveness.
  • Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
