Summary

The Social Media Specialist will assist with the marketing efforts for both Better Business Bureau (BBB) Inc. at the international level and BBB, Central & South Alabama at the local level. This role reports and provides assistance to the Director of Social Engagement helping to ensure a consistent, engaging, and data-driven social media presence across all platforms. This position is based in the United States.

Responsibilities

· Generate content across formats (video, graphics, etc.)

· Attend weekly marketing meetings and report performance

· Monitor trends, competitors, and emerging technologies

· Consistently schedule based on content calendars and publishing cadence

· Assist in promoting local events and initiatives

· Engage with local audiences and the community

· Analyze and optimize local campaign performance

· Track and analyze performance metrics and ROI

· Create slides for presentations

· Any other tasks as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

.· Expert knowledge across social platforms (i.e.: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok)

· Video editing (i.e.: CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro)

· Graphic design

· Photography

Pay: $40,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year
