Social Media Producer / Creative Assistant: $50k – $60k DOE
The Reality of the Role
This role is for a creator whose content lives and dies by timing, instinct, and execution.
We’re looking for someone who is genuinely chronically online, someone who lives on the edge of TikTok culture, spots formats before they’re everywhere, understands what people are about to start caring about, and can help turn those early signals into strong video ideas for Harrison.
This is not a passive assistant role. This is part producer, part creative partner, part internet researcher, and part writer.
You will work directly with Harrison and the team to help identify viral opportunities early, shape ideas into executable concepts, and assist in scripting short-form videos that actually feel native to the internet.
The goal is not just to keep up with trends. The goal is to get there early and make them better.
We are not looking for someone who reports trends after they peak. We want someone who feels them while they are still forming.
You should be the kind of person who sends “we need to jump on this today” messages before everyone else has noticed the format.
What You’ll Be Doing
Trend & Idea Research: Constantly tracking TikTok, Reels, creator culture, formats, sounds, meme cycles, internet discourse, and emerging trends to identify strong opportunities early.
Idea Development: Bringing Harrison fresh, high-potential content concepts that feel native to his style and have real viral upside.
Writing & Scripting: Helping write short-form scripts, hooks, punchlines, structure, and video beats so ideas are clear, sharp, and ready to film.
Creative Producing: Assisting in shaping content from idea through execution, making sure concepts are thought through and actually work on camera.
Content Support: Helping organize ideas, references, drafts, and creative notes so the content pipeline stays sharp and fast-moving.
Internet Tastekeeping: Acting as a filter for what is worth jumping on, what is already stale, and what can be adapted into something better and more original for Harrison.
Who You Are
You are deeply online in a real way, not just casually using TikTok, but understanding how trends move, why things hit, and what feels early versus already dead.
You have a strong instinct for viral content and a natural feel for what is about to take off.
You have writing experience and know how to turn loose ideas into strong short-form concepts, scripts, hooks, and structured video moments.
You understand internet culture, pacing, humour, and what makes content feel native rather than forced.
You are proactive and bring ideas without needing to be micromanaged.
You are highly organised and can keep track of concepts, references, and creative pipelines without things getting messy.
Fully remote role, with Australia / US candidates preferred and the ability to work in person when needed.
Bonus If You Have
Experience working with creators, influencers, or personality-led brands.
Experience writing comedy, short-form scripts, or social-first content.
A strong understanding of TikTok-native storytelling, meme language, and how to build ideas that feel timely without feeling desperate.
Experience producing or creatively assisting on viral short-form content.
