Role Overview

Own Malaica’s online presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms. Responsible for creating, curating, and managing content that inspires, educates, and converts expectant mothers into loyal Malaica mums.

This role blends creativity with execution: you’ll create campaign ideas, shoot content, manage influencers, analyze performance, and ensure Malaica’s voice remains aspirational, empathetic, and premium.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Develop and execute weekly/monthly content calendars aligned to Malaica’s marketing plan
  • Write compelling copy for social media
  • Coordinate design and video assets with in-house/agency creatives.
  • Capture on-the-ground content from events, clinics, and community activities.
  • Spotlight client’ stories, doctor/nurse profiles, and partner features in engaging formats.

Social Media Management

  • Manage Malaica’s Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn accounts.
  • A/B test different landing pages and acquisition pathways.
  • Post, schedule, and monitor daily activity to grow engagement and followers.
  • Respond to comments, DMs, and community interactions in a timely and empathetic tone.
  • Identify trends, hashtags, and opportunities to keep Malaica relevant and aspirational.
  • Run and manage social media Ads

Campaign & Influencer Support

  • Support digital campaigns (ads, giveaways, themed campaigns)
  • Coordinate with influencers and brand ambassadors for collaborations.
  • Assist in event promotion and live coverage.

Analytics & Growth

  • Track content performance using social and website analytics.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on engagement, leads, and conversions.
  • Recommend optimizations for content, audience targeting, and channel mix

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills (a must).
  • Proficiency in Canva/Adobe tools and basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar), as well as with latest AI tools.
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Analytics is an added advantage.
  • Experience in healthcare, wellness, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
