Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Social Media & Account Manager to join our team. This hybrid role combines social media management, content ideation and client servicing, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment.

The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, creator and relationship builder. They are plugged into culture and trends, enjoy generating content ideas, are comfortable on shoots, and can confidently manage day-to-day client communications while ensuring projects move seamlessly from concept to execution. This role supports leading retail and consumer brands that operate in a fast-moving environment with frequent launches, promotions and always-on content requirements. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple workstreams while maintaining a high standard of quality and client service.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Plan, manage and maintain monthly content calendars.
  • Generate fresh, relevant and trend-led content ideas that align with brand objectives.
  • Monitor social trends, platform updates, emerging formats and cultural moments to identify opportunities for brands.
  • Work closely with creative teams to develop engaging social-first content.
  • Review content to ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging and quality.
  • Analyse content performance and provide actionable recommendations for optimisation.
  • Prepare reports and insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and social media performance.
  • Support community management initiatives where required.

Content Creation & Production

  • Participate in content shoots, including pre-production planning and on-site coordination.
  • Contribute creative ideas for social campaigns, activations and content series.
  • Stay current on content trends, creator culture and emerging social behaviours.

Client Management

  • Serve as a key day-to-day contact for clients.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and partnership.
  • Understand client business objectives and translate them into actionable social media recommendations.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables and expectations across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Present ideas, recommendations and campaign updates confidently to clients.
  • Anticipate client needs and provide thoughtful, solutions-oriented support.
  • Facilitate regular engagement with clients to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities.

Project & Team Management

  • Coordinate with internal creative, strategy and production teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Support integrated campaigns and marketing initiatives across retail, food & beverage and consumer lifestyle brands.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, account management or a related field.
  • Agency experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with retail, FMCG, convenience retail, food & beverage, supermarket or consumer brands is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Xiao Hong Shu
  • Proven experience planning and managing high-volume content calendars and always-on social campaigns.
  • Passion for social trends, content creation and digital culture.
  • Experience participating in and managing content shoots.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight timelines and frequent campaign launches.
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proactive, resourceful and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to roll up their sleeves.
