  • Evaluate and recommend social media software and platforms.
  • Maintain an understanding of partners’ brand voice and create authentic stories that drive engagement and revenue.
  • Find opportunities to help evolve and share Kinship’s own story in practices, communications, and online presences.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure resonant storytelling practices and copy across marketing disciplines.

PEOPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Team Culture & Motivation: Celebrate and recognize wins by compiling and sharing social media successes with the team weekly.
  • Culture Initiatives: Organize happy hours, events, and in-person meet-ups to strengthen team connections.
  • Safe Space: Create a safe space for the team to share challenges, recovery strategies, and key takeaways.
  • Training & Onboarding: Support new process trainings, educating the team on workflow improvements and essential tools.
  • Employee Evaluations: Review and conduct employee evaluations and performance reviews.
  • Creative Assessment: Assess creative portfolios and content calendars to evaluate social content quality and strategic alignment.

STRATEGY & PARTNER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account Ownership: Lead 2+ partner accounts, especially higher-profile accounts.
  • Strategy Evolution: Challenge, evolve, and scale strategy across accounts.
  • Engagement Oversight: Support leaders with monitoring and optimizing engagement performance and track partner results.
  • Account Recovery: Establish rapid-response "Plan" strategies for account recovery and lead emotional recovery efforts to strengthen partner relationships.
  • Strategic Improvements: Develop action plans for Strategists and their teams to optimize performance.
  • A/B Testing: Guide the team on how to implement A/B testing and apply key learnings from insights.

CONTENT & ENGAGEMENT

  • Creative Oversight: Oversee storytelling quality, engagement, and process efficiency.
  • Content Planning: Develop and execute yearly content plans to drive consistent storytelling.
  • Engagement Audits: Lead reactive engagement audits and compile insights from team members.
  • Proactive Tactics: Develop proactive engagement strategies, set quality benchmarks, and refine engagement targets.
  • Innovation: Identify and forecast emerging trends and drive adoption of new strategic channels and tools.

REPORTING

  • Performance Tracking: Oversee insights and performance tracking, monitoring YTD goals and platform analytics.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Report performance insights and team progress to the Director/VP.
  • Data Synthesis: Present high-level, data-informed insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Strategic Leadership & Operations

  • Operational Oversight: Review and approve team strategies for a pod of accounts, ensuring Influencer and Paid Managers' work is aligned with high-level brand goals.
  • Performance Optimization: Oversee Metrics Trackers to monitor YTD goals and platform analytics, developing specific strategic action plans to course-correct underperforming accounts.
  • A/B Testing Frameworks: Guide Strategists and Specialists on implementing A/B testing to turn data insights into repeatable content wins.
  • Account Recovery: Lead rapid-response "Account Recovery" strategies and emotional recovery efforts to strengthen partner relationships during crises or plateaus.

People & Culture Management

  • Developmental Coaching: Manage MyPaths and Flowers + Motivators initiatives to foster professional and personal development for junior staff.
  • Workflow Training: Educate the team on new process rollouts (e.g., Metrics Trackers, AI tools) and guide implementation from introduction to execution.
  • Quality Control: Conduct "Engagement Audits" and assess creative portfolios/content calendars to ensure storytelling remains high-fidelity across all pod accounts.
  • Culture Driving: Actively lead weekly "Win Celebrations" and organize team-building events to maintain morale and a "safe space" for sharing challenges.
