Summary
We are looking for Social Media Contributors for a brand new project we are working on. This project will be focussed on Australian football (soccer), predominantly Socceroos, A-League, Australian Championship, and state competitions ie NPL1.
You will be covering everything there is to know about Australian football, such as news (player movements, injuries, team updates), statistics, fan content, highlights, culture topics…EVERYTHING.
This won't be a news platform. This will be a cultural movement focussed on highlighting everything there is to know about Australian football and bringing it to the Australian youth.
The Role
Our Contributors Will Be Focussed On Creating Social Media Static Posts To Be Shared Across Social Channels. These Posts Will Be Focussed On
- News: Player / team updates, injuries, trade movements, highlights etc
- Statistics: Breaking down player / team stats
- Culture Topics: Creating culturally relevant posts that resonate with fans. Think the type of thoughts that live in the comment sections, and shared in Reddit forums, X feeds etc.
About You
You are someone that LOVES Australian football. You watch every A-League game, international friendly, and are the go to person in your group chat for what's happening in the world of Australian football.
You are also extremely creative, energetic, resourceful, live on socials, and want to make your way into Sports Marketing.
You ideally have experience creating social posts, and experience using tools such as Adobe, Canva etc.

Essentials
You must possess the following:
- A passion for Australian football
- Creativeness and the ability to create visually engaging posts to a high standard
- An ability to think for yourself, including sourcing ideas and turning them into social posts.
