Role Description
Captiv Creative is seeking a Senior Creative Producer to lead projects from concept through final delivery while helping guide the creative direction of our productions.
This is more than a traditional producer role. We're looking for someone who understands both the creative and operational sides of production—someone who can develop ideas, build production plans, lead client conversations, oversee execution, and collaborate with our internal producers and creative team to deliver exceptional work.
The ideal candidate has extensive production experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys leading projects while mentoring others. As our company continues to grow, this role offers a clear path toward greater creative leadership and management responsibilities.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial, corporate, branded content, and event productions from concept through delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and translate them into compelling creative strategies.
- Develop creative treatments, production approaches, and project plans.
- Manage multiple productions simultaneously while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee pre-production, including scheduling, budgeting, logistics, crew coordination, locations, and production planning.
- Lead production teams on set and provide direction to ensure successful execution.
- Work closely with editors, cinematographers, photographers, and designers throughout post-production.
- Mentor and support junior producers while helping establish production best practices.
- Communicate project goals clearly across internal teams and external partners.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, creative quality, and client experience.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience producing commercial, branded, corporate, or agency content.
- Proven experience managing productions from creative development through post-production.
- Strong understanding of all phases of production, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Experience leading production teams and coordinating freelancers, vendors, and creative professionals.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with confidence, working directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated creative thinking with the ability to contribute to concept development and storytelling.
- Experience creating production schedules, budgets, call sheets, and client-facing documentation.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm in fast-paced production environments.
- Must be able to work on-site in Houston, TX, with occasional flexibility for production schedules.
