THE ROLE: SENIOR COPYWRITER (VIETNAM BASED)
● We’re looking for an experienced copywriter who knows how to turn ideas into compelling
language.
● You’ll write across every stage of the branding process – from positioning statements and
brand stories to naming, tone of voice, campaign concepts, video scripts and launch
communications.
● Every project is different, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys switching between
strategic thinking and creative execution.
● We’re ideally seeking someone with around four to eight years of experience, although we’ll
always prioritise exceptional talent over years on a CV.
● This role requires curiosity, versatility and attention to detail. You’ll need to think
strategically, write beautifully and adapt your voice effortlessly across different industries,
audiences and formats.
● As a Senior Copywriter, you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery,
producing consistently high-quality work while managing multiple assignments and meeting
deadlines.
● You’ll collaborate closely with strategists, designers, project managers and clients, helping
shape brands that people genuinely connect with.
JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Write creative Vietnamese-language copy, including taglines, brand stories, naming,
websites, brochures, social media, video scripts and campaign copy
● Develop strategic language deliverables, including tone of voice guidelines and key
messaging strategies
● Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality work
● Collaborate closely with the Strategy, Creative and Video teams throughout the branding
process
● Proofread and edit all deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency and linguistic excellence
● Present and explain creative work confidently and persuasively to clients
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or a related field
● Proven experience in a writing-intensive role, preferably with a creative agency or similar
● English-speaking proficiency
● Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative thinking
clearly to both internal teams and clients
● Deep understanding of Vietnamese language, culture and local market nuances
● Impeccable editing, rewriting and proofreading skills
● Curiosity, creativity and a robust imagination
