Overview
Senior Brand Manager Jobs in United States at Thriving Brands
About Thriving Brands
Thriving Brands is a fast-growing Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company in the personal care space, with brands including Right Guard and Dry Idea Deodorant, COLAB dry shampoo and Johnny’s Chop Shop men’s grooming products.
About the Role
We are looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial Senior Brand Manager to steward two distinct but
complementary personal care brands — Dry Idea and COLAB — across the US and UK markets.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who thrives owning a brand end-to-end: from
annual strategy and consumer insight to innovation pipeline, creative development and execution.
You will be the brand guardian and day-to-day marketing lead, working cross-functionally with
sales, e-commerce, supply chain, finance, and external agency partners. As the business grows,
this role has clear upside: today you operate as an individual contributor; tomorrow you could build
and lead a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Planning
- Own the annual brand plan for Dry Idea and COLAB across the US and UK, including objectives, strategies, budgets, and KPIs.
- Develop and maintain brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and visual identity guidelines; ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
- Monitor category, competitive, and consumer trends in both markets; translate insights into actionable brand opportunities.
Campaign & Creative Development
- Lead creative briefing, development, and approval across campaigns, digital content, packaging, PR and in-store materials — partnering with agencies.
- Oversee social and digital marketing execution, ensuring both brands show up culturally relevant and commercially effective.
- Drive integrated go-to-market planning for new product launches and seasonal campaigns.
Innovation & Portfolio Management
- Manage the product innovation pipeline: identify whitespace opportunities, brief NPD, guide development through our informal stage-gate, and lead launch execution.
- Partner with supply chain and commercial teams to manage SKU rationalization and portfolio health.
Commercial & Retail Execution
- Collaborate with sales and e-commerce teams to develop trade marketing materials, retail programs, and Amazon/e-commerce strategies.
- Track brand P&L performance; identify risks and opportunities; make sound investment recommendations.
Insights & Analytics
- Synthesize consumer research, shopper data, and performance analytics to inform brand decisions and measure effectiveness.
- Define and track brand health metrics (awareness, trial, loyalty) and report progress to leadership as data is available.
Cross-Functional & Agency Leadership
- Serve as the central brand hub, aligning stakeholders across marketing, sales, e-commerce, operations, and finance.
- Manage external agencies (creative, PR, media) and hold them accountable to brand standards, timelines, and budgets.
About the Brands
Dry Idea
A trusted American antiperspirant and deodorant brand with decades of equity in efficacy-driven
personal care. Dry Idea competes in the mass market and has a loyal consumer base anchored in
performance and hypoallergenicity. The opportunity is to help gain expanded distribution and drive
the new-to-the-world benefits in the innovation pipeline as a means to grow a younger, committed
user base.
COLAB
An award-winning dry shampoo brand originally founded in the UK, COLAB is now expanding its
footprint in both markets. Known for its innovative formulations, accessible price point, and culturally relevant creative, COLAB appeals to a younger, trend-savvy consumer. The opportunity is to
accelerate awareness, trial, and distribution in both the US and the UK.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of brand management experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) – ideally in personal care; must include proven ownership of brand strategy and campaign execution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple brands or portfolios simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working across US and/or UK markets; comfort navigating cultural and retail differences between the two.
- Strong creative judgment with a track record of briefing and approving compelling consumer-facing work.
- Analytically grounded: comfortable with syndicated data (Circana, Numerator), brand health trackers, and P&L fundamentals.
- Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator; able to influence without authority.
- Located in the Eastern or Central US time zone; must maintain a dedicated, professional home office workspace.
What We Offer
• Competitive salary and performance bonus
• Comprehensive benefits and 401K
• Fully remote work environment with flexibility; no daily commute.
• High ownership, high impact role with direct visibility to senior leadership.
• The chance to shape two distinctive brands at a pivotal stage of their growth.
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that values creativity, speed, and accountability.
