The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to own and grow client relationships across our book of business. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, ensuring strategy alignment, clear communication, and consistent delivery. This role sits at the intersection of client service and digital marketing execution, so you need to understand the work as well as you manage the relationship.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the day-to-day lead for a portfolio of clients, managing expectations, timelines, and deliverables
  • Translate client goals into actionable briefs for internal teams across SEO, PPC, web development, and social media
  • Run client calls, QBRs, and reporting reviews with confidence and clarity
  • Monitor campaign performance and proactively surface insights, risks, and opportunities to clients
  • Collaborate with strategists, developers, and content teams to keep projects on track and on budget
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Manage onboarding for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to delivery
  • Maintain accurate records in HubSpot, including deal stages, notes, and task tracking

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of account management experience at a digital marketing agency
  • Working knowledge of SEO (on-page, technical, local), PPC (Google Ads, Meta Ads), and web development workflows
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • A track record of retaining and growing client accounts
  • Experience with project management and CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
  • Comfort managing multiple accounts simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • A proactive mindset: you flag problems early and come with solutions, not just updates

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with AI Overviews, GEO, and emerging search trends
  • Experience with reporting tools like GA4, Looker Studio, or Agency Analytics
  • Background in local / multi-location/ SEO
  • Exposure to marketing automation or AI-driven workflows

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
