Job Title: Project Manager – Creative Agency
IN A NUTSHELL:
We are looking for an Account / Project Manager who is an enthusiastic problem solver and thrives on being engaged at all levels of a project. You are excited about branding and design and will be an integral part of our small and mighty team as we help our clients build some of the world's most iconic brands and experiences!
As a Project Manager, you will support the Managing Director in the successful day-to-day running of projects while building strong relationships with team members and
clients. You have an understanding of branding and design processes and will play a crucial role in implementing project plans, crafting proposals, managing the day-to-day workflow in alignment with client expectations and bigger picture milestones of the project lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you have a proactive and collaborative approach to project planning, you actively work to facilitate that the team is set up for success and you keep in mind the larger picture project goals working with the Managing Director to ensure plans are being delivered on brief and on schedule.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Project planning of design projects and workflow, developing and updating timelines based on client and/or internal changes, communicating goals to team and tracking deliverables
- Ensure clear and frequent communication with your team, acting as point person throughout the creative life cycle through status updates, document sharing, meeting recaps, progress documentation, etc.
- Keeping status documents up to date and managing the organization of internal drives
- Supporting the day-to-day project workflow and project resourcing, recognizing when to elevate any issues to senior team members
- Attending and scheduling of internal design reviews, collecting feedback and providing clear next steps for the project team
- Supporting the Founder and Managing Director on new business management, crafting proposals in response to briefs and RFPs, helping to prepare materials for introduction calls such as creds decks and creative point of view materials based on client briefs/RFPs
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to identify workflows that can be improved and proactively propose solutions to improve efficiency
Requirements
- 2-5 years Account and Project Management experience, preferably in an agency or in-house setting
- Familiarity with branding, design and production processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects at any one time
- Able to foresee potential problems and propose solutions to senior management
- Proficiency in Project Management software, Microsoft programs, Keynote and familiarity with design tools a plus (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
- Must be NYC based and able to work in office 3/days per week
Salary $85,000-$90,000
