Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production & Studio Assistant to support design production, color testing, samples, and studio organization. This is an in-person role working closely with the Creative Director and supporting the day-to-day physical and technical needs of the studio.
You will assist with preparing production files, organizing samples and materials, maintaining design documentation, and helping with product visuals and light social/content support. The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between digital production work and hands-on studio tasks.
Responsibilities
• Prepare production files using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Assist with textile repeats, bounding box swatches, and colorways
• Perform color testing and adjustments for production
• Create mockups and product visuals for marketing or presentations
• Maintain organized artwork files, color libraries, and production documentation
• Manage sample library, physical materials, and studio organization
• Assist with sample prep, presentations, and studio support tasks
• Support light social/content prep as needed
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Familiarity with textile repeats, colorways, and color testing workflows
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working hands-on in a studio environment
• Interest in textiles, fashion, interiors, or surface design
• Positive, proactive, self-starter mindset
Details
Location: Brooklyn, NY (in-person studio role)
Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week, 2–3 days in studio
Compensation: $17–$20/hour, depending on experience
- Start: Immediate, with training and staff transition period
