ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Jack Archer is a premium men's apparel brand built on a simple belief: great clothes should work as hard as the men who wear them. We obsess over every detail — from the fabric composition to the final fit — and we're looking for a Product Manager who shares that obsession.
This role sits at the center of everything we make. You'll own the full product lifecycle — from the moment a purchase order is placed to the day product lands on our shelves — and you'll be the connective tissue between our suppliers, our internal teams, and our customers. If you're someone who thrives on bringing order to complex processes, loves being close to the product, and takes pride in getting the details right, this is the role for you.
This role is based in our New York City headquarters and operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday. We believe our best creative work happens when we’re building side by side, while still allowing flexibility outside of core in-office days.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from PO issuance through delivery — managing T&A calendars, WIP trackers, and sample tracking (PP, TOP, ownership samples) to keep development on time and on spec
- Maintain and communicate size guides, manage trim approvals, and ensure all product specifications are accurate, up-to-date, and clearly documented across internal folders and TP records
- Attend all fittings, capture detailed notes, and communicate fit feedback and next steps to suppliers in a timely and organized manner
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for supplier partners — building strong working relationships while holding vendors accountable to timelines, quality standards, and brand expectations
- Partner with Customer Service to investigate and resolve product quality issues, and review QC reports to identify patterns and inform future development decisions
- Support the Merchandising and Product Development teams with cross-functional coordination, ensuring visibility and alignment across all active styles in the line
WHAT YOU HAVE
- 3–5 years of experience in product management or production within an apparel or fashion brand, with direct exposure to the full product development calendar> Mens experience a plus!
- Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple concurrent timelines without letting details slip; experience owning WIP and T&A tools is a plus
- Clear, confident communicator — both internally and with supplier partners — with the ability to escalate issues appropriately and drive resolution without losing the relationship
- Proficiency Google Suite, and/or Excel for sample tracking, TP management, and reporting
- A low-ego, high-ownership mindset — you're just as comfortable sending supplier notes as you are presenting in a cross-functional meeting
