This role involves close collaboration with the studio manager, contract photographers, motion content teams, artist relations, and business partnerships teams.
The primary responsibility is to oversee the entire photo shoot process, from project brief to shoot capture and post-production.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience across various production scales, from independently managing line productions to commissioning external vendors.
Additionally, they must have the ability to oversee multiple productions simultaneously.
The candidate should demonstrate exceptional composure under pressure, strong communication, project management, and time management skills.
They should also have a proven track record of working collaboratively with others in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
Key Qualifications
- A genuine passion for photography as a medium, coupled with a comprehensive knowledge of photographers and global photo agencies at all scales. This includes an eye for the inclusion of diverse voices.
- The ability to work independently, guiding productions from concept to delivery.
- Hands-on experience producing photo and motion shoots for various purposes.
- Expertise in contract and fee negotiation with photographers and their agents.
- Excellent skills in budget management and a deep understanding of translating creative visions into cost-effective production approaches.
- The ability to manage projects, partnering with internal and external teams to ensure timely and efficient set timelines, workflows, and cross-functional meetings.
- An organized and systematic approach to document filing and archiving.
- A proactive and positive team player.
Additional Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant photo production experience.
- The ability to provide and present a visual portfolio of work at Producer level or higher.
- The role is based in London, requiring 3 days per week of on-site attendance at the studios, including shoot days
