Music Talent Manager Jobs in United States at Eight Media

Eight Media partners with music creators at every stage, from emerging creators to established talent, to build, scale, and monetize their presence across digital platforms. We boast a roster of over 80+ creators and operate at the intersection of music, creator culture, social growth, and paid partnerships, helping creators turn attention into revenue and helping brands, labels, agencies, and artist teams activate talent more effectively.

We are a fast-moving, high-agency team. The right person will get early 0->1 experience, direct visibility into how a creator business is built, and the opportunity to move up quickly as the music division grows.

Role description

This is a full-time remote role for a Music Talent Manager. You will oversee a roster of music creators, manage day-to-day communication, sign new talent, develop creator growth plans, and build relationships with brands, labels, agencies, artist teams, and other partners.

This is a revenue-owning role, not a purely administrative talent management role. The right person should be modern, culturally online, commercially sharp, and energized by the idea of building something before every process is perfect. You should be able to support creators, open doors, close opportunities, and help turn creator attention into repeatable revenue.

What you will own

– Source, sign, and onboard promising music creators

– Manage creator relationships, communication, retention, and growth

– Build and activate relationships with brands, labels, agencies, artist teams, creators, and marketing buyers

– Pitch creators for paid campaigns, sound promotions, partnerships, collaborations, and other monetization opportunities

– Help creators improve positioning, content strategy, release promotion, and weekly earnings

– Track pipeline, active opportunities, creator revenue, campaign performance, and retention risk

– Use social, audience, engagement, and revenue data to make practical growth recommendations

– Coordinate with internal creative, marketing, operations, and analytics support as needed

– Help build the talent management playbook as the music division scales

What we are looking for

– Experience in music talent management, creator management, influencer marketing, music marketing, label services, or entertainment partnerships

– Proof that you have personally signed, closed, grown, retained, or monetized creators, campaigns, clients, or partnerships

– A usable network across brands, labels, agencies, artist teams, creators, or marketing buyers

– Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, streaming platforms, short-form content, creator culture, and how music spreads online

– Confidence pitching, negotiating, following up, and closing opportunities

– Strong creator communication, relationship-building, and retention instincts

– Analytical mindset with the ability to translate audience, engagement, campaign, and revenue data into action

– Strong project management skills and comfort managing multiple creators, timelines, partners, and priorities at once

– Ability to work independently in a remote environment and adapt quickly as priorities shift

Nice to have

– Existing relationships in music, creator marketing, labels, agencies, nightlife, entertainment, or artist teams

– Experience with sound promotions, creator-led music campaigns, artist rollouts, or social-first release strategy

– A track record growing creator revenue from smaller weekly earnings into larger recurring deal flow

– Degree in Music Business, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not required if professional experience is strong

Why this role is exciting

– Real ownership: you will help shape the music talent management function, not just plug into an old system

– Fast growth path: as the roster and revenue grow, there is room to move into a senior or lead role quickly

– Performance upside: compensation is designed for people who want to work hard, produce, and be rewarded for results

– Early company experience: you will learn how the business is built from the inside, across talent, partnerships, growth, and revenue

– Modern creator economy exposure: you will work directly with the platforms, creators, buyers, and campaigns shaping how music moves online

Success in this role

– You sign and retain creators who fit the roster strategy

– You open real conversations with brands, labels, agencies, artist teams, and other buyers

– You help creators increase weekly earnings while keeping deal quality high

– You build repeatable systems for outreach, creator growth, partner follow-up, and revenue tracking

– You operate with urgency, ownership, and strong judgment without needing heavy hand-holding

How to apply

Apply to this post and DM Kai Tayam with a short note covering:

– What creators, campaigns, clients, or partnerships you have personally closed

– What relationships you could credibly activate in your first 30 days

– One example of how you have grown creator revenue or retained a high-value creator
