We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our dynamic NYC team. Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing and Partnerships Manager, this role is integral to shaping and executing our social media strategy.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is genuinely obsessed with social media, creator culture, and emerging digital trends. You’re the person sending TikToks to your friends before they go viral, spotting aesthetic shifts before brands catch on, and constantly thinking about how content can be improved.

You have a strong eye for design and understand how to create content that feels native to each platform while maintaining a cohesive brand identity. You’re proactive, highly organized, and excited to take ownership of projects rather than simply execute assigned tasks.

Most importantly, you’re eager to help build brands through content, community, influencer partnerships, and TikTok Shop. This is a hybrid role requiring at least 4 days a week in-office.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management:
  • Manage multiple Instagram accounts, including scheduling, posting, and maintaining consistent brand voice and aesthetic.
  • Post and manage TikTok accounts with creative, on-trend content.
  • Create and post engaging Instagram Stories that align with brand goals.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and community interactions across all platforms.
  • TikTok Shop & Creator Marketing
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of TikTok Shop, including affiliate outreach, sample approvals, creator recruitment, and campaign execution.
  • Monitor creator and affiliate performance, identify high-performing content, and surface actionable insights to the marketing team.
  • Research emerging creator trends, viral products, and platform updates to help maintain a competitive edge.
  • Support creator gifting initiatives and help manage product seeding programs.
  • Assist with affiliate campaigns, creator challenges, and performance tracking.
  • Stay on the pulse of TikTok trends, content formats, sounds, and platform best practices.
  • Content Creation:
  • Work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop content calendars and execute campaigns.
  • Assist in the creation of social media graphics and visuals using tools like Canva.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and incorporate them into content strategies.
  • Campaign Support:
  • Assist in influencer marketing campaigns, including product and sample management, outreach, and campaign tracking.
  • Support digital marketing initiatives such as email marketing, SMS marketing, affiliate marketing, and Shopify updates.
  • Help maintain an organized content management system and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze the performance of social media posts and campaigns.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for content optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, creator marketing, or influencer marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Canva with a strong eye for design, branding, and visual storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify social media trends and translate them into content opportunities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and is comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passion for social media, creator culture, and community building.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TikTok Shop, affiliate marketing, or creator partnerships.
  • Experience using Shopify, Aspire, ManyChat, Klaviyo, or similar marketing platforms.
  • Experience managing influencer gifting and product seeding programs.
  • Familiarity with social analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with consumer brands, lifestyle brands, or DTC brands.
