About The Role
Our multi-faceted experiential design team is seeking thoughtful and innovative minds, skilled in the arts of visual communication, imaginative storytelling, and creative problem‑solving to join our team as we leverage the power of design to bridge the gap between individual, brand, and the built environment to create inspiring experiences for our clients. You will join us in addressing our client’s largest challenges and transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.
In this role, you will be involved in all phases of the design process, from conceptual development through artwork production. You will participate in recommendations for concept, design, art direction, and production for a variety of two- and three-dimensional graphics, signage, and exhibits. Working closely with the environmental graphics team, you will design a range of graphics, maps, print layouts, and signage, contributing to projects that enhance spatial experiences and communicate compelling narratives. You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, translating their needs and ideas into innovative design solutions, and prepare visualizations and mockups to facilitate fabrication and implementation. Collaboration with vendors and fabricators will be essential to ensure the successful realization of design concepts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field (required by hire date)
- Strong background in typography and prior internship experience in related fields highly valued
- Demonstrated interest and skill in 3-dimensional design, wayfinding, exhibition design, and environmental graphics
- Proficiency on Macintosh platform using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp are a plus
- Strong design orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the design process, from conceptual development to artwork production
- Assist in developing concepts, design, art direction, and production for various graphics and signage projects
- Design two- and three-dimensional graphics, maps, and print layouts in collaboration with the environmental graphics team
- Work with clients to interpret and translate their needs and ideas into creative design solutions
- Prepare photo visualizations and mockups of signage and exhibit components for placement and content approval
- Develop camera-ready artwork suitable for fabrication and production
- Coordinate with vendors and fabricators to ensure quality and accuracy of final deliverables
