Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Marketing team in the capacity of:
Graphic Artist
Develop marketing and brand material for all forms of media.
Provide photography coverage for special events and support the Group Marketing department in strategies, generating ideas and content by providing recommendations and solutions with regard to graphical content and layout, while ensuring that brand standards are maintained.
Location: Kingston
As a Graphic Artist, You Will
- Develop marketing materials for all forms of media, including outdoor and brochures.
- Provide graphical support to all projects as needed.
- Work closely with brand Managers in Group Marketing department to generate concepts and ideas.
- Provide photography coverage for special events.
- Work closely with advertising agencies assigned to brand Sagicor.
- Manage and maintain graphic files including logos, photos and art and all creative for Sagicor Group Jamaica and its subsidiaries.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Management, Marketing, or an equivalent qualifications, from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Diploma in graphic design or related field, or an equivalent qualification, from a recognized institution.
- Three (3) years’ experience in graphic design and photography, including general marketing and experience with website designing and updating. Experience in the financial services market would also be an asset.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Good working knowledge of Quark Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
- Knowledge of HTML, Adobe Flash and InDesign.
- Knowledge of Macintosh Operating Systems.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Good understanding of the printing process, including working with and creating artwork for digital printers and presses.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- High degree of creativity and innovation.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
