The Role
This is production-line photography, not creative photography. You'll be working through our auction catalogue lot by lot across two photography setups:
a controlled studio rig for higher-value coins, and a box photography line for the rest of the catalogue. Same setup, same lighting, same workflow, coin
after coin.
The job is repetitive by design. Volume, consistency, and accuracy are what matter.
When the photography queue is clear, you'll be assigned other tasks around the office. Shipping lots out to buyers, packing, general admin, helping the
cataloguing team with intake. We're a small team and everyone pitches in.
What You'll Be Doing
• Shooting coins on our studio rig and box photography setup using Capture One (we'll show you our setup)
• Following our barcode-and-SKU workflow so every image lands against the correct lot
• Background cleanup to our house standard
• Flagging re-shoots and fixing them
• Shipping, packing, and general office support when phoßtography is caught up
What We're Looking For
• Someone who shows up, gets stuck in, and gets it done
• Comfortable around a camera. Capture One experience is a plus but not essential, we can train the right person
• Careful with detail (a wrong SKU on the wrong photo creates real problems for us)
• Happy with repetitive work and a steady rhythm
• Reliable, on time, and easy to work with in a small team
The Details
• Part-time, weekly schedule (days/hours TBD with you). Think 3 or 4 days per week.
• In-person at our Chippendale office (this is not a remote role)
• $32–$38/hr + super, depending on experience
