SpiceKix is looking for a Filmmaker & Visual Storyteller to help translate the world of SpiceKix into meaningful visual stories. You are available on a part-time or full time basis.
This role is for a highly creative film maker who believes storytelling goes beyond content. You understand how to capture atmosphere, people, and moments in ways that feel authentic and cinematic. You have a strong visual instinct and know how to craft stories that resonate with an audience.
We are looking for someone who can help translate the voice of our customers, the craft behind our coffee, and the culture of SpiceKix into compelling visual narratives.

About SpiceKix
SpiceKix is a specialty coffee lab in Rotterdam focused on ultra-light roasted coffee and innovative specialty drinks. Built on a deep appreciation for the coffee bean, our mission is to elevate the coffee experience and push flavour forward.
More than a coffee space, SpiceKix is a place where flavour, creativity, and community come together. As the brand grows, storytelling will play an important role in shaping how our world is experienced beyond the lab.
Your Role
You will work closely with the SpiceKix team and Marketing Director to capture and translate the essence of the brand into visual stories.
This includes documenting real moments in the coffee lab and outside, capturing the energy of our guests, and crafting short films and visual narratives that reflect the emotional connection people have with SpiceKix.
From concept to final edit, you will help bring a cinematic lens to our brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture authentic moments and stories inside the SpiceKix lab and not only
- Translate the voice and experience of our customers into visual narratives
- Conceptualize and produce short films and story-driven content
- Lead or contribute to art direction and visual storytelling
- Film and edit content across formats for social media and brand storytelling
- Develop visual concepts that align with SpiceKix brand identity
- Work closely with the team to identify stories worth telling
- Handle production, filming and post-production editing
- Bring new creative perspectives to how we document and communicate the SpiceKix world
Who You Are
- A strong visual storyteller with a cinematic eye
- Connection to storytelling and human moments
- Experience in filmmaking, videography, editing, visual storytelling
- Comfortable with concept development, filming, and post-production
- Strong creative instinct with an eye for composition, mood, and atmosphere
- Able to translate brand values into meaningful narratives
- Curious, observant, and naturally drawn to capturing authentic moments
- Based in or near Rotterdam
