Popular 21 is seeking a Fashion Designer to spearhead a new collection in our line of apparel. This role reports to the Director of Design. If you are looking to join a high-growth organization, we would love to speak with you!
Responsibilities
- Researching current fashion trends and determining what consumers will like
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop ideas for new products based on research
- Designing sketches for new products with a design team
- Testing and deciding on fabrics, colors, patterns and textures for each design
- Overseeing the production of designs, including carrying out fittings
- Maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers and models
Qualifications
- Familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time wisely
- Clear and effective written communication
