*This is a 40-hour per week contract position*

Our client is looking for a senior-level Paid Media Strategist to support growth across key international markets via paid media, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Australia. This person will play a highly strategic and hands-on role, partnering closely with country marketing managers and the paid media team to optimize campaign performance, shape creative direction, and drive market-specific insights. This is not a junior campaign execution role. We’re looking for someone who understands how all pieces of the funnel work together — media, creative, testing, analytics, and localization — and can continuously refine strategy based on performance and consumer behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize paid media strategy across multiple international markets
  • Manage and/or support media buying across platforms including Meta, Google, and other paid channels
  • Monitor campaign performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities
  • Analyze market-specific performance trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Partner with creative and marketing teams to provide guidance on messaging, creative performance, and testing strategies
  • Design and interpret campaign tests, learning agendas, and iteration plans by market
  • Collaborate closely with country marketing managers and the paid media team to align strategy and execution
  • Continuously refine campaigns based on consumer behavior, cultural nuances, and performance data
  • Communicate strategic recommendations clearly and confidently to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in paid media strategy and campaign optimization
  • Strong hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing analytics and attribution
  • Experience supporting international or multi-market consumer brands
  • Familiarity with European and/or Australian consumer markets strongly preferred
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced, startup-like environments
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, curious, and self-directed working style

  • Must have familiarity with European consumer behavior across target markets (UK, France, Germany, Spain) as well as Australia
