With over 30 years of heritage, our collections are designed in-house and distributed through flagship retail stores across Australia, alongside our global online platform.
We are now seeking a creative and technically skilled Senior Fashion Designer to join our growing design team and help shape the next chapter of our collections.
The Role
As our Fashion Designer, you will collaborate with our in-house creative team to develop seasonal collections from concept through to final production. You will play a key role in translating creative direction into elevated, wearable pieces that reflect the BNAH aesthetic and resonate with our customers.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field
- 2–5+ years of industry experience in fashion design or product development
Design & Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and textiles
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to develop sketches, tech packs, and detailed design specifications
- Knowledge of pattern making and production processes
Creative Direction
- Strong design sensibility with a refined understanding of silhouette, colour, and trend
- Ability to create original designs aligned with a defined brand aesthetic
- Strong attention to detail, finish, and quality
Industry Understanding
- Awareness of fashion trends, materials, and market direction
- Understanding of sourcing, costing, and manufacturing workflows
Collaboration & Communication
- Confident working with production teams, tailors, and suppliers
- Strong communication and ability to present and refine ideas
- Open to feedback with a collaborative mindset
Time Management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Highly organised and comfortable working independently (especially in part-time capacity)
Portfolio Requirement
Must provide a portfolio showcasing previous work, sketches, or collections. (PDF or portfolio link required at application stage.)
