We are looking for a design-forward marketing professional who can create high-quality assets from scratch for merchant campaigns across email, onsite, and paid channels. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong visual design skills with hands-on experience supporting ecommerce and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
This is a highly executional role. The right person will not just contribute ideas, but will actually build polished creative assets that merchants can use directly to launch high-performing campaigns.
About the Role
The Lifecycle Marketing Designer will be responsible for designing and producing merchant-facing marketing assets that support lifecycle campaigns, promotional initiatives, and personalization adoption across the client’s merchant base.
This role is best suited for someone who is visually strong, highly organized, and comfortable working across multiple ecommerce brands at once. You should be able to take a marketing concept and turn it into clear, compelling, on-brand creative deliverables with minimal oversight.
While an understanding of lifecycle and ecommerce marketing is important, this role is first and foremost for someone who can design and execute.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Execution & Asset Creation
- Design high-quality email creatives for merchant lifecycle and promotional campaigns
- Create onsite creative assets, including banners, modules, PDP visuals, and campaign mockups
- Build paid marketing assets and supporting visuals for merchant campaigns
- Produce merchant-ready marketing kits that can be easily deployed across different brands
- Translate campaign ideas into polished, high-converting creative materials
- Adapt creative across different merchant brands, verticals, and seasonal campaigns
- Ensure all assets are visually strong, conversion-oriented, and aligned with each brand’s aesthetic
Lifecycle & Campaign Support
- Support the execution of merchant lifecycle campaigns across 50+ ecommerce brands
- Help develop repeatable campaign plays for holiday promotions, gifting, product launches, and other key moments
- Partner with Merchant Success and Growth teams to prioritize campaign initiatives
- Contribute to campaigns that improve personalization adoption, attach rate, and revenue performance
- Balance speed and quality while managing multiple active projects simultaneously
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to understand campaign goals and merchant needs
- Turn strategic direction into clear visual assets and launch-ready creative
- Incorporate feedback quickly and effectively while maintaining strong design standards
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience in marketing design, ecommerce creative, lifecycle design, or related roles
- Strong portfolio demonstrating email design, onsite creative, paid assets, mockups, and merchant-facing campaign materials
- Proven ability to create assets from scratch, not just edit or manage existing work
- Strong visual design skills across ecommerce and digital marketing formats
- Experience supporting ecommerce, lifecycle, retention, or growth marketing initiatives
- Ability to translate marketing goals into polished and effective creative deliverables
- Proficiency in Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
- Experience managing multiple brands, clients, or campaigns at the same time
- Strong understanding of conversion-focused creative and revenue-driven marketing
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience working with Shopify-based brands
- Background in DTC brands, ecommerce agencies, or multi-brand environments
- Experience creating assets tied to promotions, holidays, product drops, or cultural moments
- Familiarity with lifecycle platforms such as Klaviyo or similar tools
- Experience with co-marketing, partner marketing, or merchant enablement initiatives
