This role is built around presence.
Your Presence on Set
Creates a sense of ease and direction, helping clients feel comfortable while moments come together naturally. Brings a calm, confident energy that allows people, children, and animals to relax and connect.
Understands the feeling behind a strong image and helps guide people, pets, and families into that moment in a way that feels genuine and unforced.
No need to be a photographer—strong visual instincts and on-set presence are what matter here.

- Comfortable being fully “on” throughout the day
- Decisive, fast-moving, and confident in unpredictable situations
- Able to direct children, engage pets, and guide adults—all at once
- Balances playfulness with control—never chaotic, always intentional
- Strong instincts for styling, positioning, and visual presentation
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and a strong instinct for cropping, alignment, and visual presentation
- Proactive—steps in without waiting to be told
Backgrounds that tend to do well in this role include:
- Veterinary, pet care, or dog handling
- Salon or personal styling
- Childcare, nannying, or early education
- Theater, performance, or hospitality environments
- Retail roles involving client interaction and presentation
The Role
Works directly alongside the creative team during live photo shoots, helping shape the experience in real time.
A fast-paced, client-facing environment where presence directly impacts the outcome.
On Set
- Leads energy in the room, creating comfort, trust, and momentum
- Handles dogs and other pets confidently, keeping them safe, comfortable, and engaged throughout the photo shoot
- Directs children, guides families, and creates natural connection between people and pets
- Adjusts hair, wardrobe, and positioning with a refined, observant eye
- Maintains control of the environment while preserving a relaxed, elevated experience
- Recognizes when something is off and corrects it in the moment
An active presence on set—never waiting for direction, always contributing to the flow and outcome of the photo shoot.
Off Set
- Prepare images for client presentations with precision and consistency
- Perform Photoshop adjustments including cropping, alignment, and exposure
- Maintain clean, organized files aligned with brand standards
- Keep the set and workflow organized so each photo shoot runs smoothly and efficiently
Requirements
- Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout the day
- Comfortable working in close proximity to clients, children, and animals
- Saturday availability is required
- Must be able to work in both Harleysville and West Lawn (Harleysville is primary)
- Within a 45–60 minute commute preferred
This role has strong potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance and alignment.
