Role Description
This is a Freelance role to become our Director of Merchandising for the AIMEE brand. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who is passionate about product strategy, assortment creation, and brand growth at both Wholesale and DTC.
About The Job:
We are looking for a driven, motivated individual to own the Merchandising role, build out processes, and have complete control to drive their vision in alignment with the AIMEE brand.
This role is perfect for you because:
- You are a leader of product strategy, assortment creation and brand growth.
- You have demonstrated experience developing merchandising strategies that balance brand vision, trend and business drivers.
- You love building seasonal merchandising line plans, working with different geographies and business units.
- You might be utilizing sales history, market information and brand filters to influence product POV during development process or working with the team on assortment building to capitalize on opportunities.
To Land This Role:
- 5 years Merchandising experience with Handbags
- Strong product sense with proven experience in driving product assortments and partnering with Design to conceive product assortments that drive business
- Strategic thinker who recognizes opportunities and can influence decision-makers to move to execution
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
- High level of analytical skills and conceptual creative ability
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Global perspective with International market experience a plus
