Position:       Director, Brand Marketing – Travel Industry B2B

Reports to:    Vice President, Marketing

Status:          Full-Time / Exempt

Location:     Remote (U.S. Only) – Eastern Time Zone Hours

Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven Director of Brand Marketing with strong travel industry experience to lead the development and execution of our global brand strategy across all customer touchpoints. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will oversee brand positioning, voice, visual identity, messaging, integrated marketing content, and lead generation initiatives across global markets.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned travel marketing leader with deep knowledge of the travel agency ecosystem, supplier partnerships, and evolving industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead execution of the company’s brand strategy and positioning within the travel industry.
  • Develop and guide brand voice, messaging, and visual identity standards.
  • Ensure consistent brand execution across all marketing channels and customer experience.
  • Partner with executive leadership to articulate brand vision and value propositions.

Marketing Content & Demand Generation

  • Lead integrated content and campaign strategies that drive awareness, engagement, acquisition, and lead generation.
  • Oversee development of website content, thought leadership, email campaigns, social media, sales materials, and partner communications.
  • Align content strategies with SEO, digital marketing, and conversion goals.

 

Leadership & Performance

  • Lead and mentor marketing team members in the implementation and execution of brand initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, business divisions, and leadership teams.
  • Manage timelines and campaign performance
  • Monitor KPIs related to brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and ROI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive brand marketing experience, including significant experience in the travel industry – experience in international markets preferred.
  • Strong understanding of travel agencies, host agencies, consortia, tour operators, and supplier relationships.
  • Proven success in brand positioning, integrated marketing, acquisition marketing, and lead generation.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and content strategies.
  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing press releases, media communications, and/or PR strategies that support brand visibility and business growth.
  • Knowledge and experience in utilizing AI in a marketing environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
