The Opportunity and Key Responsibilities

ZIMMERMANN is seeking a talented Digital Studio Manager to join our Digital team, based in Rosebery, NSW.

In this role, you will manage the digital studio and oversee the creation of product content that informs, entertains, and inspires our audiences across global markets. You will play an important role in delivering product launches and key studio projects, supporting the overall digital content strategy and ensuring product content is presented in a way that reflects the ZIMMERMANN brand.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is highly organised, visually attentive, and motivated by studio operations, image production, team leadership, and continuous improvement. You will act as a visual gatekeeper for product imagery and video, ensuring content is delivered to the highest standard and evokes an emotional connection with our customer.

As the Digital Studio Manager, you will bring together creative direction, operational oversight, and hands-on studio management to support the continued evolution of ZIMMERMANN’s digital content experience.

Key Responsibilities
As Digital Studio Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of our in house Digital Studio team, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating shoots to ensure content is delivered on time for collection launches.
  • Overseeing product imagery and video to ensure all content is produced, reviewed, uploaded, and proofed to the highest standard ahead of launches.
  • Acting as a visual gatekeeper for the digital brand, reviewing product imagery, video, styling, retouching, colour accuracy, and image gallery curation across global product pages.
  • Working closely with the Digital Content Director, Digital Producer, Photographer, Stylists, and broader Digital, Marketing, Design, Wholesale, and Content teams to deliver product and creative content.
  • Supporting the smooth management of studio operations, including sample loans and returns, model bookings, castings, file handling, proof sheets, equipment, studio presentation, and shoot logistics.
  • Developing and maintaining styling guidelines, digital image guidelines, studio policies, and procedures to support consistency and efficiency.
  • Overseeing the upload and publishing of product imagery and video, including supporting processes for Magento, file management, compression, and product enrichment.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing the studio team, including the Studio Team Lead, Photographer, Producer, Digital Studio Coordinator, Studio Assistants, and casual team members.
  • Planning team capacity, approving casual rosters in line with budget, and identifying workflow improvements to support high-quality and timely content delivery.
  • Supporting digital content projects, SEO initiatives, testing optimisation tickets, and logging issues related to product detail page imagery and video.
  • Maintaining a safe, collaborative, proactive, and high-performing studio environment

What You Will Bring

To succeed in this position, you will bring:

  • 5 years’ previous experience in e-commerce studio management, photography, and editing.
  • Tertiary qualifications in photography, editing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing teams and photographic schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced photo editing and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
  • Strong studio photography and videography experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or a similar e-commerce platform would be highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail across all aspects of content delivery.
  • A strong understanding of product imagery, video, styling, retouching, colour accuracy, and digital content standards.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality content within key launch timelines.
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership capability, with experience coaching, developing, and supporting high-performing teams.
