Duration: 6-Month Contract (High likelihood of extension)
Rate: $45-55 an hour
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a meticulous and versatile Design Consultant to join their Marketing team. This role is essential in supporting executive-facing communications for the company, its prestigious listed companies, and prospective partners.
The ideal candidate brings 3–6 years of experience in marketing, agency, or production design. They are looking for a specialist who excels at translating established brand standards into high-impact, polished deliverables, rather than a candidate focused on art direction or management. This role requires a "soup-to-nuts" ownership mentality, taking projects from initial concept through to final execution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Presentation Design (80%): Develop and format executive-ready pitch decks and high-visibility marketing materials. You will utilize existing templates and the unique brand standards of various listed companies to win new business and communicate value to C-suite audiences.
- Marketing & Experiential Assets (20%): Design assets for global activations, on-site IPO events, and digital signage. This includes creating visual mockups for marketing concepts, OOH placements, and digital installations.
- Brand Fidelity: Consistently apply approved typography, color, layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy across all digital and physical platforms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing and events teams, as well as external stakeholders, to ensure brand consistency and effective visual storytelling.
Technical Requirements
- Exceptional Portfolio: Must demonstrate clean, professional design work with a focus on presentations, multi-brand corporate work, and experiential/out-of-home signage.
- Design Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and high proficiency in Canva.
- Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy and a "high-polish" finish is required; you must be comfortable working quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Adaptability: Experience working across multiple industries is highly attractive; an agency background is a major plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Motion Design: Basic skills in animation or motion design for banner ads, digital billboards, and interactive presentations.
- Experiential Design: Experience with environmental branding or digital installations.
- Consulting Background: Prior experience in a consulting capacity or a diverse, non-linear career path.
Success Profile A successful candidate will be a highly organized self-starter who can manage multiple high-priority deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Beyond technical skill, success in this role is measured by your ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and receive positive feedback from high-level stakeholders.
