Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Interior Designer Trainee to assist our design team in planning and executing interior design projects. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who want handson exposure to residential and commercial interior projects while learning industry standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in developing interior design concepts and layouts
- Prepare 2D drawings, mood boards, and presentations
- Support in space planning, furniture selection, materials, and finishes
- Create basic drawings using AutoCAD / SketchUp / 3D tools
- Help in preparing BOQs and material lists
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site supervisors
- Visit project sites for measurements and execution support
- Maintain project documentation and design records
- Learn and follow company design standards and processes
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of interior design principles
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory for drawings)
- Familiarity with SketchUp / 3ds Max / VRay / Lumion (basic level)
- Understanding of materials, colors, textures, and layouts
- Good visualization and creative thinking
- Willingness to learn and adapt
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator
- Exposure to residential or commercial interiors (internship/projects)
- Basic understanding of site execution and measurements
- Good drafting and presentation skills
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Civil (Interiororiented)
- Finalyear students or recent passouts can apply
