Role Description
This full-time Creative Strategist role, based in NYC, focuses on developing and executing innovative brand and campaign concepts for COOLTURA's key clients. The Creative Strategist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into compelling creative ideas, narratives, and visual directions. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading brainstorming sessions, crafting creative briefs, shaping brand positioning, and guiding the execution of digital and experiential campaigns. The role also involves conducting audience and market research, analyzing cultural trends, and using those insights to refine creative strategies. The Creative Strategist will present concepts to stakeholders, iterate based on feedback, and ensure all deliverables are consistent with each brand's voice, values, and goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Creative Direction and Creative Strategy skills to lead concept development and guide multidisciplinary creative teams.
- Experience in Brand Strategy, including brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and audience segmentation.
- Advanced Writing abilities for crafting clear briefs, conceptual narratives, taglines, and presentation materials.
- Solid Research skills, including qualitative and quantitative methods, trend analysis, and competitive insight gathering.
- Proven experience in creative or brand strategy roles within agencies, studios, or in-house brand teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear, persuasive way.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in remote and distributed teams.
- Familiarity with digital, social, and cultural marketing trends; experience in lifestyle, entertainment, or culture-focused brands is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Design, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
The role is based in NYC, with hybrid/remote flexibility.
