Overview

As a Content Manager in the Social & Content Team, you will be responsible for executing social media content strategies, managing day-to-day content operations across platforms, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely, and locally relevant content. You’ll work closely with the Social Client leads and other teams to bring campaigns to life across digital channels in Japan. This role requires fluency in Japanese, strong coordination skills, and a passion for great content. Experience in content production—such as shooting or editing—is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Social Strategist in executing content calendars and campaign rollouts
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to create and review social assets
  • Write and localize social media copy in Japanese, aligned with brand tone
  • Maintain and update social publishing schedules across platforms
  • Ensure timely delivery of all content to meet campaign and always-on timelines
  • Manage Influencer marketing for clients, from hiring to creating content with them.
  • Track content performance and support with monthly reporting and insights
  • Manage asset libraries and maintain content accuracy across channels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to align on deliverables
  • Support small-scale content shoots or edits, where relevant

Qualifications

  • Good experience in content, social media, or digital marketing roles
  • Proven ability to manage content calendars and production workflows
  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English fluency
  • Social Listening and performance tracking knowledge
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and what content works best on each
  • Experience with content production (basic shooting/editing) is a plus
  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills with creative and client teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
