This role focuses on elevating a company’s presence on LinkedIn through strategic, people-centered content. The primary objective is to showcase the professionalism, craftsmanship, and high standards of the team by producing concise, engaging posts that highlight prestigious projects, staff achievements, and the company’s reputation as a trusted industry leader. The content will be tailored to industry best practices, aiming to strengthen the brand, celebrate the team, and build trust with clients and professionals. The position requires planning and delivering approximately 26 posts per year, with a mix of project highlights, staff interviews, company milestones, health and safety achievements, and stories about apprentices and team events.
Deliverables
- Develop and execute a LinkedIn content calendar with bi-weekly posts (approx. 26 per year)
- Create concise, attention-grabbing posts that reflect the company’s values and industry reputation
- Highlight key projects, staff stories, company milestones, and health & safety initiatives
- Conduct and edit short interviews with staff, focusing on people-powered storytelling
- Feature apprentices, their milestones, and training achievements
- Promote internal events, charity initiatives, and team outings
- Engage with industry peers and clients through comments and interactions to foster relationships
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and industry standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in content creation for LinkedIn or similar professional platforms
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft authentic, people-focused narratives
- Excellent written communication and editing abilities
- Understanding of social media best practices, especially for B2B audiences
- Ability to plan and manage a content calendar for ongoing campaigns
- Familiarity with the electrical, construction, or related sectors is advantageous
- Experience conducting interviews and transforming them into engaging content
- Knowledge of health & safety communication and industry accreditation is a plus
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt content to evolving brand needs
