Job Summary
Chronicle Creations is seeking a highly motivated Content Creator & Social Media Manager to take true ownership of Dreambook’s digital presence. You won't just be making content; you will be the face and voice of our AI-powered story creation app for kids. This role demands a results-driven strategist who leverages AI, thrives on camera, and knows how to build real reach. You’ll manage everything from talking-head short-form videos and data-backed scheduling to community engagement and email marketing. We aren't looking for window dressing—we need content that drives measurable growth and connects with our target audience in early childhood education.
Compensation & Commitment
Time Requirement: 10–20 hours per week.
While this position is unpaid, contributors will receive company ownership through equity, reflecting both creative impact and long-term commitment to our mission. Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional content creation experience or freelance work.
- Enthusiastic and highly comfortable being the on-camera face of a brand.
- General knowledge and interest in early childhood education and literacy.
- Proactive communicator, capable of collaborating effectively in a team setting.
- Strong understanding of social media growth metrics and audience engagement strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
Content Creation & On-Camera Presence
- Serve as the primary on-camera personality for Dreambook, filming engaging short-form talking head videos focused on early childhood education.
- Design and produce short-form carousels and infographics that communicate meaningful information to our target audience.
- Edit and produce videos using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or Canva.
Strategy & Ownership
- Take full ownership of the content strategy, focusing strictly on results-driven content designed to maximize reach and growth.
- Present your researched findings, analytics, and upcoming content plan at our weekly all-hands meetings.
- Conduct deep weekly research using AI to determine trends and refine your creative goals.
AI Integration & Copywriting
- Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, including generating compelling scripts for talking head videos.
- Write creative captions, video descriptions, and promotional copy aligned with Dreambook’s voice.
Community Engagement & Platform Management
- Manage and schedule posts across all platforms using Buffer, adhering to a rigorously researched schedule for optimized deployment.
- Perform daily check-ins within Buffer to ensure all content is publishing on time and without errors.
- Actively comment and interact with other accounts and followers to drive organic engagement and build community.
Email Marketing
- Manage and write copy for our Mailchimp campaigns to engage a growing list of high-intent signups.
- Communicate progress reports on new features, highlight company milestones, and actively promote the product to users who have already shown interest.
