Blunt is a sentiment analysis data company on a mission to assign a number to everything, representing the world's opinion on anything imaginable.
We analyze the sentiment of topics across every category and assign each a score from 0–100. This allows users to both track how sentiment shifts in real time, and add their own ratings to anything they want. We're early, growing fast, and building something for the entire world.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Content Creator: a video producer, editor, and sound designer who has mastered video shoots, content direction, and video overall. You'll own the production end-to-end and supply our growth manager with a steady stream of content for them to distribute.
You'll produce short-form content for the brand, but you bring experience in longform video production too. You've worked with brands and you know how to turn a concept into a finished piece that performs.
How You'll Work
• You'll come up with content from discussions with the team and your own judgment
• Your whole job is to supply the growth manager with content for them to distribute later
• You own production end-to-end: shoots, editing, sound, and direction
• You move fast on what's working and keep the pipeline full
What You'll Own
• Produce videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, Podcasts, Youtube, etc.) from concept to final cut
• Direct and run video shoots
• Edit video, including motion graphics, captions, and sound design
• Develop and protect the Blunt visual style across all content
• Stay on top of platform trends, formats, and audio
Qualifications
• 2+ years producing video, with a reel or portfolio to show it
• Strong production instincts: you've mastered shoots, content direction, and video overall
• Experience across both short-form and longform video production
• Strong editing skills (Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent)
• Color grading and sound design experience
• Strong motion graphics and animation skills
• Comfortable on both sides of the camera, shooting and editing your own work
• Experience working with brands
• Bonus: experience with design tools (Figma, Photoshop) for thumbnails and static assets

Compensation
• $35,000 – $45,000 USD annually + stock options (vesting program) and a defined career path
• Final offer is dependent on the candidate's level, based on prior experience and performance throughout the application process
