The OMNI International AI Film Festival is the Southern Hemisphere's first AI film festival, dedicated to showcasing global storytelling from the edge of technology and culture. This trailblazing event highlights groundbreaking AI visuals, including narratives, surreal experiments, AI animations, music videos and documentaries. OMNI aims to interrogate and evolve the rapidly changing landscape of AI in filmmaking, bringing together creators, filmmakers, storytellers and audiences to experience new voices sharing new and compelling works. It serves as a platform for exploring how artificial intelligence is evolving with the world of cinema.
OMNI operates at the intersection of generative AI, filmmaking, and cultural curation. Through the OMNI AI Film Festival and our expanding platform, we work with leading AI filmmakers globally, curate high-quality work, and shape how this new Gen-AI medium evolves. OMNI is overwhelmed with demand and we are now looking for a third co-founder to join the core team and help scale OMNI into its next phase.
Important Note- This is a founders role for Equity only and is not a salaried position. This role will have a voice in how we develop new markets, technologies and reach new audiences. We are looking for people who are fast, outcome focused, proactive doers. We look for those who can “do” and not just talk about doing.
Role Description
The Co-Founder will play a crucial role in shaping and managing the vision, strategy, and operations of the OMNI International AI Film Festival. We are seeking a highly capable operator who can function across technology, operations, or social growth. Evolving AI knowledge and deep curiosity is a must. The successful candidate will be a dynamic CTO, COO, or CMO depending on your strengths.
You will work directly with the founding team to:
- Build the technical and platform vision (AI tools, filmmaker ecosystem, distribution)
- Establish scalable operational business systems across festivals, partnerships, and products.
- Define and track deliverable outcomes
- Drive audience growth, brand positioning, and further global expansion
This is an equity-based founding role, currently non-salaried, with clear pathways to revenue participation and long-term value creation.

- Proficiency in sales and marketing strategies to promote events and develop partnerships
- Proven experience with leadership and team collaboration to manage projects and operations
- Passion for film, technology, and generative AI; experience in the creative or technology industries is a plus
- Equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing
- Connected, or capable of becoming connected, across tech, media, or startup ecosystems
- Motivated by ownership and ability to not require a salary in the short term
